Navid Nafiuzzaman

Software Engineer, Capital One

I build the systems that move money and data across borders.

About

Software engineer at Capital One, building Python and Java microservices that move money across the world, reliably and in compliance — cross-border payments infrastructure on AWS specializing in SWIFT, plus DevOps/SRE work with Ansible, Grafana, and observability tooling. Before that, I engineered microservices for Deutsche Bank's Global Depository Receipts platform — computer science at RIT, based in New York City.

AWS Certified as a Solutions Architect, Developer, and Cloud Practitioner. Outside of banking systems, I build my own apps: a cross-platform TV client, a disaster-shelter finder, and a few other tools that scratch a specific itch.
